Wesley, you’re my personal therapist. You wrote about my face fucking fantasy: “Because you’re a bit of a sadist and probably don’t want to admit it, and are looking to me to try and explain it away? Maybe because you feel powerless over all and are looking to your sexual fantasies as a place to regain control over your life”. But my other fantasy is to be the one getting roughly treated. Why do we have fantasies like that? Do “normal” guys have fantasies without a power imbalance?

I’m just going to stop you at that first sentence, since you missed the subtext of my first response. I’m not your therapist. I don’t have the training to be your therapist, or anyone’s therapist. Furthermore, if I was a therapist, I sure as hell wouldn’t be giving out psychoanalysis for free. If you really want to figure your shit out, go talk to a professional, because all I have is snark and subtle mockery to hand out in spades.

Stupid question, but do you think it’s important for writers to do research when writing erotic stories set outside the U.S. (or whatever their home country is) and/or in a different time period? I’m asking this because I’ve read stories that were excellent but had some horrible inaccuracies.

Yes, if you care about accuracy, you should research and try to not be inaccurate. That said, this is all fantasy to some degree, and fudging details big or small is going to happen to some extent, so I don’t really consider it a big deal, unless that person is going to make it a sticking point. That largely stands only for historical stories however, cultural ones are a differentish matter. Basically, try not to insult large swaths of people by reducing them a series of laughable stereotypes? That’s generally not a good thing to do, and definitely not sexy.

Is it wrong to only like certain parts of a fetish? Like if someone loved everything about slob except scat and watersports?

It isn’t “wrong” lol. There isn’t really a moral or immoral component here (or rather, if there is, then it’s probably all immoral, and we would be debating degrees, which is never a fun discussion). To me, though, it always confuses me when people refuse to take those last steps. The way I categorize things in my head, if you like slob stuff, it feels almost illogical to not also like watersports and scat in some ways. That said, I know people do feel that way and they aren’t being irrational–they just categorize things differently than I do. It’s a complex business, and navigating it is a bit hard, but I do what I can to please most people.

Could you someday include an uncircumcised to circumcised transformation?

Well, to be honest, that’s not really all that interesting to me, then again, neither is the reverse. I usually only include foreskin as a secondary trigger for a different fetish, usually slob or redneck, not as something sexy in and of itself (though I know a number of people feel that way). Going from uncut to cut is just a bit, well, boring to me? It doesn’t really hook into any obvious fetishes, and even then, there’s nothing all that “impossible” about it. So probably not.

Hypothetically, if someone were to commission you to write a fan fiction story, would you accept it?

Uh….at the moment? Probably not. A lot of my burnout over the past few months, I’ve found, has come from commissions. Some are great, those where commissioners have broad ideas and like my style and the substance of my stories, who want me to tailor my usual stuff towards their interests. But the commissions I end up hating are the ones with too many restrictions, with commissioners with too many taboos and “no-go” areas, and they just end up exhausting me. I’ve never felt the desire to write or read fan fiction erotica, I find it a bit lazy to use other people’s characters to develop other stories, and at its worst it’s disrespectful to the original work. 

Were I in a different position, like I was a few months ago, without a steady job and needing the money, I would probably take them anyway. But now? With too much to do with my full time job, my relationship, and other projects/businesses I’m trying to get up and running, I don’t have the time for new commissions at all, and even if I did, I no longer want to take stories that I have no real interest in writing, and that includes pretty much all fan fiction, unless it involves Hagrid. Cause Hagrid is sexy as fuck.

Some pictures contain obvious clues on how you could anchor them within a transformation story, but where do you get ideas for the stories that involve the most bizarre and unheard of fetishes, do yo have some kind of huge list containing the most unconceivable things that people might find erotic and just tick them off one by one?

Uh….do you have an example of something particularly strange? Because most everything I’ve written is something I’ve seen or read somewhere else (I think). It’s pretty hard to do something to the human body that hasn’t been done before, either in real life or in fiction–if I do anything original, it’s sexualizing the horrific, but that’s not really anything new either. So no, there’s no list, and nothing I write is really inconceivable to me, given the fact that I conceived it.

I reread some of City of Bears chapters recently and I really wish you write a continuation, I’m so looking forward to see what’s going to happen to the two leather cops, the musky guy from the church and the BDSM professor. Matt’s story is a bit meh, but otherwise it’s still an amazing series I think, at least compared to whatever else is out there.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, whether or not it will be continued in it’s current form is kind of up in the air, so who knows when I’ll get back to it. Thanks for the support on it though, and I hope to finish it up someday, when I actually figure out where it’s all going.
