In some of your recent stories the mc/tf element seems to be marginalized or even almost nonexistent, are you moving towards writing general smut stories or hoping to attain some particular effect? If the latter care to elaborate on what it is, if the former plsno.

Like I mentioned in an earlier answer, the MC/TF aspects will be ramping up shortly, in the back half of “Reunions”. No, I’m not abandoning them entirely, so don’t worry about that.

Dearest Wesley, In the MC/TF genre is there a way for a character that is being transformed to stop/reverse the transformation? What i’ve seen is characters with “self-control”, but all that does is delay the inevitable. Second, is there a way for a character that is being transformed to be observed by an outsider that does not get transformed? For example, Joe the greasy plumber gets transformed into the handsome actor (yeah, i know you’d do it in reverse) but everyone claims to have known

Um….yes and yes? Because fiction can be written however you want?

I mean, if your question is what sort of techniques you could use as a writer to stop and reverse a TF in a story that aren’t just the “self-control” MacGuffin, one that I can think of is “The Curse”. The character has to transform unless they accomplish some particular goal, in order to stop or reverse the change (think Beauty and the Beast and stories like that).

And yeah, it’s also definitely possible to have TF stories where people are aware of the changes. I think writers tend to avoid that scenario because you end up a lot more about people’s reactions to the changes and a lot less about the change itself.

What was the one story that involved transformation, mental effects optional, that you found to enjoy but was the greatest surprise doing so. Either as a reader or a writer, and I mean that it was surprising that you enjoyed it… my meanings can be a little unclear.

I would say that the kinds of transformations that I’m always surprised I enjoy (and there have been numerous examples of them, so I won’t link to anything in particular) are inanimate TF’s. On the face of it, it seems like such a strange thing to be into, and then I read about someone turning into a boot, or a cigar, or a toilet and I have a hard on and I’m like WHAT SORCERY IS THIS

Are there any furry transformation writers that you like?

Well, the main one I have to mention is Leo Todrius, over on FA. Other than that…well, given that there just isn’t a site that I know of where a lot of furry writers post, it’s kind of hard to find furry writing to begin with. Most of the action happens on the art and comic side. But I’m not super deep in the community, so I’m sure there are sites and authors out there that I don’t know about.
