I was just looking back over some of your older stories and came across House Arrest again. This has to be one of my favourites and it got me wondering about whether you’re going to go back to the story and continue it?

I have a list of a few stories that I intend to continue/finish at some point, and that one is definitely on there. Some of the other ones are “Deal of a Lifetime”, “Home of Mirrors”, “Rick and the Beast”, and “Coach Ray Gets Framed”–that last one is more of a priority, since quite a few people wanted to see it extended in my poll last month.

That said, while I really love the set up of house arrest, I was just never quite happy with figuring out where to take the story from where I left it, mostly because neither the cop nor his son are in any position to resist the man controlling them, and because of that, it doesn’t leave much space for conflict. I know there’s a longer more developed story in there somewhere, but it’ll be a while before I sort it out, I think.
