How do you come up with names for your characters?

I hate coming up with names for characters. I’m terrible at it. I usually pick a letter on the keyboard, and then think of a boy’s name that starts with it. Sometimes I use lists of baby names. Sometimes I search a random article on wikipedia, and steal names from there. Seriously, I would name all of my characters after single letters if that wasn’t completely ridiculous. That said, I do on occasion use names from people I know, usually when I’m looking for a little personal revenge fantasy.
