Well sure, of course she isn’t perfect (i.e., I fully agree with you), she’s just at the top of a rather unimpressive heap.
From what I recall it was more about who was the least two dimensional character, rather than who filled the ‘female empowerment’ tropes best, after reading the last book which showcases just how incompetent and reliant on her advisors Daenerys was, I wouldn’t really say she fits either of these categories very well.
