What was the one story that involved transformation, mental effects optional, that you found to enjoy but was the greatest surprise doing so. Either as a reader or a writer, and I mean that it was surprising that you enjoyed it… my meanings can be a little unclear.

I would say that the kinds of transformations that I’m always surprised I enjoy (and there have been numerous examples of them, so I won’t link to anything in particular) are inanimate TF’s.
