And as far as your writing goes, I feel like that short, fragmented narrative you often use, where the reader isn’t always sure what exactly is happening to the characters, works out absolutely great with tf/mc stories where the possible confusion often serves to almost resemble their mental state, not to mention all the left out details being left to the imagination actively help the story, but when you strip the tf away, almost the opposite seems to happen on all fronts imo.
